Breaking the Bank

My kids are breaking the bank. Oh, not in the usual way like eating us out of house and home or begging for a toy at Wal-Mart, I'm talking about the Tooth Fairy bank. Yes, they found out it was me. Plus, I think inflation is a factor. When I was a kid I got maybe a quarter or a fifty-cent piece. In fact, I probably still have a few of those original fifty-cent pieces, and they must not have meant as much to me back then because I had to be coerced into getting them pulled. My grandfather would tell me he just wanted to wiggle it, yet somehow it always happened to be loose enough for him to take it with a little yank. I loved it and hated it at the same time. Well, the going rate these days is 5 bucks. I'm not sure if I am getting ripped off or not, but it is cheaper than a trip to the dentist. Anyway, in the last month or so Jenna has lost two and Jesse has lost three. The other day Jesse tells me to get my money out because he has another loose one. It makes me wonder if they have some shark DNA, as I understand sharks grow teeth continuously throughout their life. But enough of that, I better wrap it up-- I have to make another run to the ATM...

Boy, I hear ya! My son lost his first tooth at Grandma's and she put 5 bucks under the pillow! Nothing like setting the bar a little high. Thanks, Grandma!

Love the blog! Where did you get your template? Need to give my site a lift.
